Deleting a user-defined field
To delete an existing user-defined field:
Note:
The delete operation does not provide a warning and the operation cannot be undone. A new user defined field will need to be created if one is deleted by accident.
1.
View the user-defined field
you wish to delete. In the example below, the user is viewing ID 9.
2. Click the
Delete
button (highlighted in red, above) to delete the user-defined field from the system.
Note:
Only UDFs that are not used can be deleted. If a UDF is used in an item, the Delete button will be disabled.
