The Usage tab displays a historical record of every form in which the item appeared and all pertinent information about the item's use in that form. An item may appear more than once in a form under certain test structures (e.g., multi-stage tests), and therefore an item can have multiple records for the same form. Pro! keeps the following information about an item's use in a form:
How the item was used (pretest, operational, etc.).
Whether the item was flagged in an item analysis as a result of its use in the form.
Mean and standard deviation of the test taker's time spent on the item.
The ways in which the item was classified at the time it was used in the form.
Number of test takers who experienced the item.
Distractor analysis, which includes the count of test takers who chose the distractor, the percent of total test takers who chose the distractor, and the point biserial correlation of the distractor with the criterion score.
