Formatting text
 
Formatting text is done through the ribbon in the Home toolbar (shown below), which is divided into four sections:
 
1. Clipboard: Use these buttons to cut, copy, and paste text. You may also use <Ctrl>-X, <Ctrl>-C, and <Ctrl>-V for these commands, or right-click within text to open a clipboard menu.
 
2. Font: Format the text (bold, italics, underline, etc.) with the available buttons. You can also click the expand button (circled below) to open a full-feature Font dialog box, offering options for font sizing and color, and various underline options.
 
3. Paragraph: Format the paragraph (bullets, numbering, and centering) with the available buttons. You can also click the expand button (circled below) to open a full-feature Paragraph Properties dialog box, offering options such as line spacing and indentation.
 
4. Editing & Proofing: Clicking the Find/Replace button (circled below) will open the Find/Replace dialog box.
