1. On the Item Search screen, click the References tab (highlighted in green), then follow Steps A through D, below:
A. To search for items that have been assigned one or more references from the Reference Library:
Select an entry from the References dropdown list (in the example above, the user has selected "Greg Reference Manual, The."
Enter citation criteria, if desired (in the example above, the user has the option of entering a Page # for the chosen reference).
Click the Add button to add the chosen reference criteria to the Selected References list.
Repeat the above three bullets to add additional reference criteria to the Selected References list.
B. To search for items that have been assigned no references, select the No Reference Link checkbox.
C. To search for items with a specific text string in their reference notes (unapproved, user-entered references), enter the text string in the Reference Note field.
D. To search for items that have been assigned no reference notes, select the No Reference Note checkbox.
2. Click the SQL Operators button to further refine your search criteria.
