1. Find an existing poolbook or create a poolbook. In the example below, the user has opened a poolbook with 15 items (highlighted in red to show the existing order of the items):
2. Sort the poolbook by clicking one or more column headings. In the example below, the user has sorted the poolbook by Item ID (highlighted in green, below). Note that the Order of the items (12, 11, 9, 7, etc.) is no longer sequential:
3. Click the Auto Renumber button (highlighted in red, above). The poolbook items will be re-ordered to the sort order specified in Step 2, above. In the example below, the poolbook items are now ordered 1 through 15 in the sort order of Item ID, as was specified. Note that, as you reorder items, all changes are automatically saved by the system.
