Creating a project email template
 
To create a project email template:
 
1. In the Workflow menu, click Project Management > Create Project Email Template:
 
 
2. The Project Email Template screen will appear (see figure below):
 
 
2. Enter an Email Template Name.
 
3. Enter an Email Template Description.
 
4. Select the Available for Section(s) checkboxes for the sections that you want this template available for.
 
5. Select an Email Template Purpose from its dropdown list (e.g., Recruiting, Start Reminder, End Reminder, Closed, Other).
 
6. Enter an Email Subject.
 
7. To create an Email Body:
 
A. Begin typing the email text in the Email Body field. In the example below, the user has filled out all fields, and has begun entering the email text ("Dear member of"):
 
 
B. From the Select Variable dropdown list (highlighted in red, above), select one of the available variables, and then click the Insert Selected Variable button (highlighted in green, above). The variable will be inserted into the email body (highlighted in red, below).
 
 
C. Continue adding text and variables to complete the project email template. In the example below, an email template has been created that reminds team members about min/max image and video sizes.
 
 
8. Click the Save button to save the new project email template.
