As you type text, Pro! automatically spell checks for you. The system underlines unknown/misspelled words with a wavy red line:
To instruct the system how to handle a misspelled/unknown word:
1. Right-click on the word to open the spell check pop-up menu:
2. Perform one of the following actions:
A. Replace your word by clicking one of the system's boldfaced suggestions.
B. Add your word to the custom dictionary by clicking Add to Dictionary.
C. Tell the system to Ignore your word, without adding it to the custom dictionary.
3. You can also perform the above actions (replace, add, or ignore) by clicking the Spelling... option on the pop-up menu to open the Spell checking dialog box (shown below, to the left). Once there, you can also edit your custom dictionary by clicking the Edit Custom Dictionary... button (highlighted in red, above) to open the Edit Custom Dictionary dialog box (shown below, to the right). You can perform the following actions in the custom dictionary:
A. Type a word into the Word field and click the Add button to add it to the custom dictionary. The word will then appear in the Dictionary field.
B. Select a word in the Dictionary field and click Delete to remove it from the custom dictionary.
C. Click the Delete All button to clear the custom dictionary.
