A new item version is created and maintained every time an item's content is changed and saved. It is possible to revert the content of the item back to any of these previously created versions, provided the item is editable.
To revert an item's content to a prior saved version:
3. Click the desired timestamp hyperlink from the Snapshots/Versions list (highlighted in red, below) to view the item content as it was saved at that date and time.
4. The Item Snapshot window is presented and displays the selected item snapshot/version (12/15/2022 at 4:01:45 PM). Notice this version contains additional text highlighted in green below, that is not currently contained in the item and passage.
5. Hovering over the Revert button (highlighted in red, above), will display a list of options available when an item is associated to a passage.
6. When an item is associated with a passage the following revert options are available. If it is a discrete item only it's content can be reverted.
Revert Item Only: Clicking this will only revert the content of the item
Revert Passage Only: Clicking this will only revert the content of the passage
Revert Item and Passage: Clicking this will revert the content of both the item and the passage
7. In the example below, Revert Item and Passage was selected. Both the item and passage content are reverted back to the content as it was at the time of the selected version. The restored content can be edited, if desired.
8. Clicking Save will create a new item version of the reverted content (plus any edits), for both the item and the associated passage.
