Assigning exhibit writers to a project and emailing them
Typically, the project/campaign manager assigns exhibit writers to a project, and then sends the writers an e-mail, informing them of the Pro! download/installation URL. Alternatively, they can direct item writers to a web site that contains the URL plus other important information.

To assign exhibit writers to a project and email them:
1. Navigate to the Exhibit Writers tab of the Exhibit Writing Project Management screen (highlighted in green below). Follow Steps A, through D, below to add exhibit writers, email exhibit writers, and indicate their status for the project.
A. To email exhibit writers
Click the Email Exhibit Writers button. The Email Exhibit Writers popup window will appear (shown below).
Select the recipient(s) for the email from the Email To dropdown list (All Exhibit Writers in Project, Exhibit Writers who accepted, etc.). If you choose Specific Exhibit Writers, then you will be prompted to choose which exhibit writers to send the email to.
Write a subject for the email in the Email Subject field.
Compose your message in the Email Message field.
Click the Send button to send the email.
B. To add an existing exhibit writer to the project
To add an existing exhibit writer to the project, click the Add Existing Exhibit Writer button. The Add Existing Exhibit Writer popup window will appear (shown below).
Select the desired exhibit writer (highlighted in red, below).
Click the OK button.
C. To add a new exhibit writer to the project
To add a new exhibit writer to the project, click the Add New Exhibit Writer button. The Project Exhibit Writer Detail popup window will appear (shown below).
F. To indicate whether or not an exhibit writer has accepted or declined to be a member of the project
After emailing a writer, they will accept or decline to be an exhibit writer on the project. To indicate their status, click on their name in the Exhibit Writers tab to open the Project Exhibit Writer Detail popup for that writer (highlighted in red, below):
Select a status for that writer from the Survey Response drop-down list (highlighted in green, above).
Click the Done button.
2. After completing the steps above, the added exhibit writer(s) will appear (highlighted in red, below) in the Exhibit Writers tab (highlighted in green, below):
