Editing a rule

To edit a rule:
 
1. In the Workflow menu, click Project Management > Rule List:
 
 
2. The Rule List View screen will appear (shown below). Click the hyperlink of the rule you wish to edit (highlighted in red, below).
 
 
Note: You may rearrange the columns, search, filter, and sort the rule list according to the instructions provided in the Tabular Display section.
 
3. The Rule Detail View screen for the rule will appear (shown below).
 
 
4. Edit the Rule Name and Rule Description.
 
5. Using the Rule Configurator fields, click and add entries and text to build the rule, or modify the existing fields. Note that you may add as many And and Or clauses as you wish when using the Rule Configurator.
 
6. Edit the Error Message that will appear if the item author violates this new rule.
 
7. Use the Rule Tester to test your new rule.
 
8. Click the Save button to save all changes.
