Note: Adding and Editing Values have no effect on items. If you are adding a Classification Value, for example, no item could exist that has that Classification. Similarly, editing a Classification Value merely changes the information for any items already classified with that value. Deleting a Classification Value is different, especially when items exist that are classified with that value. When you delete a Classification Value, any item classified with the value will lose its association to the Classification Set. Deleting a Classification Value cannot be reversed, so be sure of your actions.
1. Find and view the classification value you wish to delete. In the example below, the user is viewing a definition called Two Levels (highlighted in green). Follow Steps A through B, below, to delete the value entry:
A. Select the value entry you wish to delete. In the example above, the user has selected the second-level value U.
B. Click the Delete button, and follow all confirmation prompts to delete the value.
